[Windows] - Fatal error occurred while trying to sysprep the machine


A FATAL ERROR OCCURRED WHILE TRYING TO SYSPREP THE MACHINE

2. Fix:

- Type regedit in the Start Search box to open Registry Editor,
- Set the value of GeneralizationState under

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\Status\SysprepStatus to 7

- Then run sysprep again.

If the same issue still persists, please unistall the MSDTC and Reinstall it through cmd console, and then try the sysprep.

- To uninstall MSDTC : msdtc -uninstall
- To reinstall  MSDTC : msdtc –install

[Windows] - Enable Administrator Account by command line

- Click Start -> run -> cmd
net user Administrator /active:yes

[Windows] - Enable Remote Desktop by using registry

To enable Remote Desktop remotely by using the registry

  1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
  2. On the File menu, click Connect Network Registry.
  3. In the Select Computer dialog box, type the computer name and then click Check Names.
  4. In the Enter Network Password dialog box, provide Domain Admins credentials for the domain of the server, and then click OK.
  5. After the computer name resolves, click OK.
  6. In the computer node that appears in the Registry Editor, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server.
  7. In the console tree, click Terminal Server and then, in the details pane, double-click fDenyTSConnections.
  8. In the Edit DWORD Value box, in Value data, type 0, and then click OK.
  9. To implement the change, reboot the server remotely, as follows:
    Open a command prompt, type the following, and then press Enter:
    shutdown -m \\ DomainControllerName -r

[Windows] - Run Windows Installer In Safe Mode

- Run CMD in the Administrator Mode.
  (Start -> type cmd on the Search Box. Righ-Click on the CMD icon -> Run as administrator)


 - Type 2 follow commands: 
   
REG ADD HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\Minimal\MSIServer /VE /T REG_SZ /F /D Service

net start msiserver

- OK, now you can uninstall program in safe mode.

[Windows] - Change ATA mode to AHCI mode Windows 7

 *Note : If you don't know how to change BIOS SYTEM don't follow the instruction.


- Boot to the windows normaly.
- Click Start -> press regedit to the search box -> Enter


- Locate and then click the following registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Msahci

- In the right pane, right-click Start in the Name column, and then click Modify.

- In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.




- Restart the computer, go to the BIOS SYSTEM. Change the value ATA to AHCI mode.
